Saturday, October 7 (Begins at 7:30AM) The Jim DelMauro Rosemary Run. Join friends and neighbors as we honor Jim DelMauro, run for fun and contribute to two good causes! The 5K charity race, benefiting The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and the South Walton Montessori Academy, will take participants all over the beautiful town of Rosemary Beach. And you don't have to be a runner to be part of the fun. Put on your sneakers and come walk the town! Advance Registration before October 2nd - $20. After October 2nd through race day - $25. This sounds like fun and I've been wanting to get to know Rosemary Beach. I'll be in town that weekend. Does anyone else want to go (I'd be walking, not running). Anyone from SoWell on SoWal?

we should have other sowallers in town. we can try to meet up for a little walk and coffee....

I'm planning to go, and I think Cork is planning to go. We'll see how far you can get with Spidey and meet for coffee as well. Anyone else who wants to join us is welcome. I've been saying I'm going to walk around Rosemary Beach for about 2 years now and haven't done it, so this is a great opportunity to do so. Again, I plan on walking (strolling) not running!

Some of the other SoWaller visitors won't be in until later Saturday.

I have the always funn and entertaining WC HOA meeting that morning. It starts at 9 am.

This sounds like funn & it would be great to meet everyone. However, getting up that early on vacation does not sound funn to me. I know I am a slacker!

Early? You call 7:30 a.m. early? I'll have read my magazine and had my tea at the beach by that time! Then again, I'll be happily napping by early afternoon...

I am sure YOU are the entertaining one! :clap_1: :lol: Besides Kitty, it starts at 7:30 am. You should be able to run around RoseMary beach, shower, have a latte, and still be early for your meeting.:razz:

I'm on EST, too, and am usually awake reading on the porch around 5:30 a.m. if it's light enough...
I love the mornings. One of my favorite songs is "In the Morning" by Nina Simone.. it seems like it was written for us early birds.
