So I called code enforcement.

Christy said someone would be right out. Should be a code enforcement truck showing up on the camera shortly.

I called the sheriff's dept, too. They are still there, but this could have been done 30 minutes ago at the initial posting...

Just sayin...

Call before you post!

Code Enforcement, WCSO, FWC, Coast Guard, etc. DO NOT MONITOR THIS SITE FOR TIPS.

obviously, digging out the lakes doesn't rate very high on the priority pole for both the sheriff's office and code enforcement. Nobody has showed up, and they are still there digging away...

Ok...now, I'm starting to wonder. I was able to zoom way in. One guy is wearing a safety vest that initially thought was a green tee shirt. Would any SoWal entity be doing this on purpose? Now, there's a truck there, and the ATV is gone.

Oh well...did my due dilligence. Whatever happens happens...

3/4" Pvc pipe attached to a water pump I get that thing open in about 2 minutes without breaking a sweat.

Well...for whatever reason, it's obviously intentional at this point. Not getting filled in, and they appear to be workers and not tourons.

I've seen the county open the outfall at Grayton before. They used a backhoe.

They are working on the area by the bridge at Oyster lake, could the opening be part of that?

Was on my cell phone and just expanded the screen...

Well, that took long enough. After watching the feed for a while it became apparent that they were workers. Not sure what they were doing that required the lake to be opened, though. Maybe they had to drop the level because of the work near the bridge...
