Comprehensive Beach Management Public Workshop
The Walton County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Workshop from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at the South Walton Court House Annex.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the most recent summer season in order to solicit input to be used for better beach management in the future.
On August 23, 2016, the Walton County Board of County Commissioners voted to hold the workshop dedicated to discussing South Walton beaches and the management thereof. The Walton County TDC (Visit South Walton) was directed to facilitate the workshop.
Topics to be covered will include but are not limited to: trash collection, driving on the beach and vending on the beach.
