Would you believe me if I said that Josh Wogan bought and gave me the Craige Hoover doll in 2001?

Back to the play, it was fantastic, and it is a must see! I thought it was unlike most other plays, but Oleana still manages to grab the audience and pull them in to the characters' emotions right from the start, maybe even more than most plays. Kelly and Meagan (I hope I got their names correct) were great performers. Almost immediately, I was impressed with their acting skills.

The after performance discussion was also great. I hope you guys are able to continue such discussions after all your plays.

Mr. Hoover, is anyone filming these plays for archival purposes? Even after listening closely to you speak about live theatre, I know that many people who are unable to be in SoWal during the plays, would enjoy watching them on DVD. -- Just a thought.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts in bringing this play to life!

Thanks, SJ, for the plug... I think we've put together a good piece of theatre, so I hope people will come out to see it.

As for filming... Yes, we do film most of our shows for archival purposes. It's a copyright infringment for us to sell those DVD's or even to distribute them for free, but I could maybe make one or two available for a "private screening."

I figured as much. Maybe you could simpy show the tapings of the plays on the lawn in Seaside in between the plays, for more exposure. I have been to several of the plays, and am impressed with each performance. Thanks again for all your work and passion for live theatre.

Don't forget tonight at the Rep is only $15! Bring a group! We are up against Seaside's 25th anniversary party so space is available...
