Biophilia Center / Driftwood Guitars Video

Nice video by Visit Florida featuring Chris Alvarado in Freeport, Florida...

Located on Choctawhatchee Bay in Walton County lies a city surrounded by beautiful Florida wilderness. Freeport, just 13 miles north of South Walton's famous sugar sand beaches, is an ideal place for fishing, boating, paddling and just exploring natural Florida.

While you're visiting, be sure to visit the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, whose mission is to educate students and visitors on the importance of biodiversity, to promote sustainability, and to encourage conservation, preservation, and restoration of ecosystems.

Also check out Driftwood Guitars and watch guitar-maker, Chris Alvarado, making ornate guitars by hand.
