Condolences to the Jones and Miles families

Cecelia Jones' husband, Jerry Jones, passed away over the weekend. Visitation is Tuesday evening at Davis-Watkins; Funeral/Burial Wednesday. Whether you like or dislike Cecelia and Jerry's politics, sometimes there are things that are far more important, and remembering his family at this time is one of them.

Walton County has also lost a former long-time county commissioner and former Constable, Rabbit Miles. Most who have moved here is the last 20 years may have never heard of him, but that is because he has lived a long life and enjoyed a lengthy retirement. Rabbit Miles is prominent in Walton County history, and wishes for peace and comfort are due to his family.
