As a local to the Emerald Coast , Shane Reynolds wants to see what his hometown beaches on Okaloosa Island and Destin, Florida look like on day 1 of the reopening after more than a month of lockdown from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Join him as he interviews socially distant visitors who were eager to get out of the house and soak up some sun...and hopefully no corona.

Again, my goal wasn't to illustrate an opinion or an agenda, it's simply to help educate people that regardless of your opinion on the current issues we're facing, if you insist on vacationing here (or anywhere else for that matter), then you are hereby required to bring your brain along for the trip. It doesn't do anyone any good leaving it at home like we used to do.
