This could be the beginning of a Publix in SRB.
I am not sure if it is the store actually kicking off or the 10 acres West of it, but there is a whole lot of land being cleared North of 98 about a mile East of 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. I would guess about 20 acres is being cleared.

Are they tearing everything down or is it one of those stupid clear the scrub brush and it'll sell ideas?

a longtime publix employee told me the other day that publix still planned on building that store by 393 and 98 but that it wouldn't be ready until the end of 2009. if this is the start, i say "great"!
