He has 25 years mold remediation experience. All the companies use a different lab and you can't go directly to the lab from what I found. It is best to have someone look at the situation first. Testing for mold types can can be costly and better used towards remediating the mold, IMO.

John Adkins is actually one of the few folks in the area that is certified to inspect, test and treat mold.
They work with certified labs to test all mold samples and they find the source so they can properly treat.
He will be able help you - and I know they work on weekends too!

Regardless of who you use, I hope you get it checked out and have a thorough treatment. Mold is bad stuff.

Hi - Beach To Bayou is certified to perform a mold survey and obtain mold samples. We FedEx the samples to the laboratory for analysis and will have the results back in 3 days. The lab results will tell you, what kind of mold spores you have, and determine if the spore count is elevated.

We DO NOT perform remediation, nor provide you with a clean up plan - all we do, is take the samples and send them to the laboratory. There are several local companies that we can recommend, once it is determined / confirmed that you have an elevated mold issue, to assist you with remediation or clean up.

I can take the samples on Monday, and the results will be back on Wednesday.

I'll save you some trouble and $$ - there is mold in your house (like every other house in FL) and cleaning your ducts and regularly vacuuming/dusting will solve most of the problem.

Scooterbug...While what you say is true; without reviewing this specific condition, it is irresponsible to dismiss the concern. There can be a moisture intrusion problem that is causing elevated mold conditions, which can lead to serious health problems, especially for children or individuals with compromised immune systems.

Regardless of what professional Waterdog contacts, if there is a concern, I recommend at least a visual mold scan and further testing based upon the results. If the test come back with a low spore count, at least Waterdog can eliminate that as a possible source of the health problem.
