Consideration for the little guy

How can the small business succeed in South Walton without consideration from the supplier base? Are there any suggestions as to who and how a new business can get goods and deliveries from suppliers of grocery, snacks and healthcare products. We opened Seacrest Sundries a month ago and can't find a wholesaler that will either take small orders, less than $1,500.00/week or deliver to our store on 30A due to the parking lot.
It has been a total surprise to us that these folks will turn down business in this economy, even a small business like us.
