We have (somewhat unfortunately) a MediaCom HD DVR at our house. For some reason most of the network (CBS, ABC, Fox, etc) OTA HD channels show up as unknown channels and the content shows up as "To be announced".
Is this common? Is anyone else having this problem?

Try unplugging the cable and power and give it a minute. Plug it back in and let it go through its download of channels. That may work.

When we got a new box ours did that too. We were given a phone number to call to get a "new signal" sent to the box. Took a few hours after that and then all was well.
