The Power of a Song: An Evening of Music & Stories at Distillery 98 Oct 21

A song can tell a story, build a bridge and give voice to those who might otherwise go unheard

Join the Cultural Arts Alliance for The Power of a Song: An Evening of Music & Stories benefiting the CAA’s Beyond Bars songwriting program at Walton Correctional Institution.

Wednesday Oct 21
Cocktail Hour: 5–6 p.m.
Program: 6–8 p.m.
Distillery 98

There is no set ticket price—guests are invited to make a donation at a level that feels comfortable. All proceeds support the 2026–27 Beyond Bars program.

Featuring Nashville-based singer-songwriters and Beyond Bars instructors Sammi Accola, Anna Grace Borné, David Borné and Caitlin Cannon, the evening will bring together original music, stories and the artists who help participants discover the power of sharing their own voices.

Enjoy cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages from Distillery 98, with The Salty Butcher offering pasta, charcuterie plates and sandwiches for purchase.

Come hear the songs. Hear the stories. And help create more opportunities for voices to be heard.
