The Red Stick Ramblers play a mixture of Cajun fiddle tunes, Western Swing, traditional jazz of the 1920s and 1930s alongside a steadily growing number of tradition-inspired originals. Based in Southern Louisiana, they build upon the songs of seminal fiddlers like Dennis McGee and Dewey Balfa, along with jazz and country swing bandleaders such as Bob Wills and Django Reinhardt, finding a common thread of danceable rhythms and strong, elegant melodies.

The Red Stick Ramblers will be the featured musical act on Friday, May 4 at Ball Blanc, a benefit for the Seaside Repertory Theatre, at the WaterSound Beach Club. The Ball begins at 7pm.

If you have made a reservation and have not paid for you ticket, please do so. We're putting the ticket packets together in the next couple of days, and the more we have sooner, the better. Thanks to all those who have purchased already.

For those of you still to commit, do so soon. although we really don't have a maximum capacity, we'd like to make sure there's enough food prepaired for everybody.
