The masters of New Orleans Jazz-Funk-Brass-Rock, Bonerama, will be appearing at the Pier Park Summer Concert series in PCB this Thursday, August 2nd (7:00-9:00) for a free show.
If you're not not familar with Bonerama, their lineup consists of four trombones, sousaphone, guitar and drums. One of their 'bone players, Mark Mullins, plays electric trombone with a wah-wah solo during one song! They also cover Hendrix, the Allman Brothers and Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein". If you haven't heard four trombones ripping into "Frankenstein", you have really missed something.
I've seen this band several times in N.O. and you won't be disappointed. Lawn chairs, coolers, etc. are welcome , so come out and party.
