30-A Golf Recommendations

Coming down for Spring Break to stay on 30-A, with golf clubs in tow. What are the best publicly-available places to play? I am familiar with the Sandestin courses (Raven, Burnt Pine, etc) and how expensive they can be for non-Sandestin renters. Any other suggestions? Would like to stay close to 30-A, if possible.

Thanks.

Santa Rosa Golf Club isn't a bad course. It's short but tight. Prices should be a little less than Sandestin. The only other course ON 30A is Camp Creek and I think you have to be staying at a St Joe property to play there. I could be wrong about that though. If you don't mind a little drive Windswept Dunes east of Freeport on Hwy 20 is a pretty reasonable course. It is the exact opposite of SRB. It is long but wide open. Depends on what you want. If you stop be the Visitors Center on the corner of HWY 98 and HWY 331 you can pick up info on all the courses in the area.

I agree with the Windswept Dunes recommendation. It will be a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. You can call 850-835-1847 for tee times.
