Rocky Bayou Stables in Niceville. Cindy is a great Instructor. You can PM me if you'd be interested in calling her. I'll give you her number.

I was just going over some old threads and I noticed your interest in lessons.

I teach hunt seat equitation and forward seat in Santa Rosa Beach. I have beginner and advanced horses available. I usually teach on a private basis but, I also can do groups if you are intereated.

I can be reached anytime at: 561-635-9696.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Tally Ho,

We just started with Allison and I think she is great! I moved from a very horsey place (KY) competed a lot when younger and have ridden all my life, and I never thought I would find a riding instructor that taught everything about horsemanship- but Allison is the real deal! Kate will learn the "United States Pony Club" way that I grew up with- where horse care, stable management, and health knowledge are just as important as riding- she will get dirty! Plus it is right here in SoWal!

Kate will have so much funn!

I loved horseback riding when I was young, but I haven't done it since I was 17. Even if I could hoist myself up into a saddle now, it would be horse abuse. :(

I'll have L2 contact you to see if you need extra equipment. She rode up in Alaska and at South Fork in Dallas. We kept the matching red leg wrappings, halter, stable gear carrying case, etc. Not sure what kind of shape helmet is in. It was fun, but cleaning out those hooves on a freezing day in Anchorage or 100 in Dallas put us to the test.

Kaiboo will be very excited to hear this! We owned a horse for several years and she showed a bit. Boys and a social life became more important :idontno: She still loves horses and riding. 😀 It is nice to know there might be somewhere she can ride while she is visiting here.
