It's my fault - I REALLY liked it, so it had to be ruint/discontinued.

Certain shoes, VS bras, and jeans have all had a similar fate befall them. :(

That is too bad. Will miss the authentic event at Seaside. :( Wonder if this is a trend of another group trying to get already established and successful events under their name banner so they can "take credit" for it. Or could be other reasonable agenda.

Via Colori at a mall next to a 4 lane highway - for some odd reason I am not marking my calendar for that.

I was wondering if they were going to continue via colori at all - participation has been very low the last few years. sounds like they are trying out something new.. but a new place? I don't get it.

What do you think the participation would be like if they made the "neighborhood street painting festival" back into a festival where regular people from the neighborhood could paint the streets. That's what I loved about it!

Several reasons; I think it was a combination of things. There are now brick pavers where a lot of the squares were. The space that we used to have is not there anymore. It has never been a big money maker for the school - it takes a lot of work to make it happen, we call on a lot of the same businesses to sponsor who just gave to the race, so taking it a little bit West, we open up the door for more sponsors, more artists - we'll see how it goes. I am excited to see how it will work at Grand Blvd! I am working on a great sponsorship idea right now!

With the budget cuts happening in education, we have to try to make up the difference as much as we can!

If any Artist is interested in participating, you can pm me and I will pass the info on to Billie.
