Yellowfin, I love that you guys are sponsoring this event! The event is almost crazily-unbelievable. Free registration, and first 250 registrants receive all the fishing stuff they need to get in business. I didn't make it to last year's event, but I saw many happy kids after the event ended.

Remember to pack the sunblock, or go over to Yellowfin and see about buying a wide-brim fishing hat to help protect you from the sun.

What time does the event start and where do kids register? Can they register online in advance, or do they just show up early?

Woops. I thought that I included the official flyer. The event is from 8am to Noon, Saturday May 9th. Registration is the day of the event. Ollie at the Red Bar is graciously allowing us to again use the back porch area of the Red Bar for the registration area.

I'm breaking Daddy-O's rules here because I also posted this under the "events" section but it got no response. For the sake of the kids, I beg forgiveness.

What a grayt event. My five year old granddaughter and two year old grandson had a super morning at the beach.

Granddaughter tried fishing--the waves were a bit strong for her; she loves that she got a "real" fishing pole, though.
