Gym Recommendation

I need a gym recommendation. I moved to the far west end of 30A in Dec. Currently I belong to a gym in DFS, where I work, but it not convenient for me to go there now that I have to drive 45 mins. to and from work. I am looking for a local gym within a 5-10 mile radius that has a nice atmosphere (female-friendly, not a lot of leering muscleheads loitering around), maybe a yoga and/or ju jitsu class, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for suggestions.

Check out this Gym (24 hour) in Grayton. it is located in Mystic Port shopping Center . Paul the owner is great.

Try Balance in Seagrove! Great Boot Camps and Spin Classes. Yoga is also available.

Thanks for the recommendations. What kinds/brands of equipment do those gyms have? I am a little, ummm....delicate...so I generally have to use machines as opposed to free weights to avoid injuries.

What kind of personal training services are available at those gyms?

Do they have lots of exercise bikes, if so what kinds?

Do they serve a mostly adult clientele or are they more "family" with a lot of adolescents kicking around?

I agree. Grayton Fitness is awesome, as is Paul. Plenty of free weights, dumbbells and barbells. plenty of weight equipment for every muscle group, plus elliptical, stairs and treadmills. bonus room with speed bag, heavy bag, yoga balls/matts, with spin room and plenty of classes including some hard core martial arts. 24 hour access, and a mix of people, but never see anyone trying to use the gym as a pick-up place for singles. It is very user friendly, and if you need assistance, they have staff during the regular business hours. Forgot to mention, but they also have trainers available for hire. I believe you can also do a trial membership to see if you like it. Membership from what I've seen is a mix, but adults mostly, with a few teens on occasion.
