On Saturday, February 13, support the CAA's Educational Giving Program, which provides $20,000 in funding each year to Walton County students, teachers, college bound art students and other artists for continuing education.

Tickets are only $20 if you purchase in advance.

The Cultural Arts Association of Walton County announces that tickets are now on sale for the Valentine Tour of Homes to be held Saturday, February 13, 10:00am ? 4:00pm, showcasing five homes along the Beaches of South Walton.

The proceeds from the self-guided Tour benefit the CAA?s Educational Giving Program, which provides grants to Walton County teachers and scholarships for students to participate in supplemental and continuing art education. Co-chairs Sherry Carter and Katrice Howell carefully chose the five homes on this year?s tour, including an historic Grayton Beach home and the Seaside home of 2010 Artist of the Year Michael Granberry.

Home #1, owned by Kelly and Billy Buzzett, is the historic Smith House located at 267 DeFuniak Street in Grayton Beach. Home #2 at 319 Western Lake Drive is owned by Mrs. Johnelle Hunt, and Home #3 is a few doors down at 395 Western Lake Boulevard owned by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harden. Home #4 is the residence and gallery of 2010 Artist of the Year Michael Granberry and his wife, Laura; and Home #5 is located in the gated WaterSound Beach community and is owned by Betty Cork.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event and include admission to the Tour and complimentary poster artwork by Walton County?s 2010 Artist of the Year Michael Granberry. Tickets can be purchased online at CulturalArtsAssociation.com where a map can also be downloaded.

Home tour today was fabulous! All the homes were different but each was beautiful. Anyone who missed it this year should definitely try to make it next year. And consider volunteering, too. Merman and I worked the afternoon shift at one of the homes in WaterColor and we met the nicest people, both fellow volunteers and people coming in to tour the home. It was a really great way to spend the afternoon. We thank Jennifer for the chance to let us help out for this wonderful fundraiser.
