In that one, Babe Ruth was the starting pitcher and walks the first batter on 4 pitches. Babe thinks all four pitches are strikes, slugs umpire, and is removed from the game. Ernie shore comes in to pitch and runner on first is caught stealing. Shore retires next 26 batters and gets credited with perfect game. BTW, what's the minimum number of batters a pitcher can face in a 9 inning game, assuming he pitches a complete game of course?
