Home School Science Classes

It's almost that time of year again! The Emerald Coast Science Center is once again offering science labs for home school students. Classes are available for students grades k-2 (ages 6-8) and grades 3-6 (ages 9-12). The classes for younger students are 1.5 hours while the class for older students are 3 hours. Each class is limited to 30 students.

Curriculum

Grades 3-5
August 25 - Tools of Science, Properties of Matter
September 29 - Atomic Theory, Periodic Table, Basic Chemistry
October 27 - Botany - plant parts, flower and seed dissection
November 17 -Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Tsunamis
December 15 - Weather


Cost: Members $75 / Non-Members $85

September 22 - Parts of the Body
October 22 - Healthy Habits
November 10 - Weather
December 8 - Animals that Hibernate
