Seahawk Parents Tailgating for the big game against Freeport on 10/8!!

[FONT=&quot]Parent Tailgate Party this Friday, October 8th from 5:30 p.m. until kickoff. This is our last home game of the season, so if you have been looking for a chance to attend a football game, this is your opportunity to have some fun, meet up with some friends and help support the school. We will be tailgating in the school parking lot ? just look for the pick up truck, tent and banners! Several parents will be cooking up some red beans and rice, grilled sausages, homemade coleslaw, and fresh cornbread muffins. We?ve also thought we would host a drawing with a fun prize to entice other parents to stop by the tailgate party. We?ll ask for parents to make donations to help offset the cost of the food, and any additional monies earned will be able to start the foundation of the Parent?s Association Fund to help with Teacher Appreciation and Hospitality events.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]To get involved with this fun evening here is a list of what we?ll need:[/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]We?d like you all to attend! The more the merrier![/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]We?d like you to talk with other parents about this event to help communicate what we?re planning and help us increase attendance.[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]If you have a great idea for a super prize that could be donated please let us know by this Wednesday. We?ll be having the school send out an e-blast to all the parents and it will help generate excitement. Any ideas/suggestions/donations are welcomed![/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]If you have a special homemade dessert you would like to contribute please let us know and plan on bringing this to the tailgate ? we?re looking for folks who love to make brownies, cookies or bars ? something that your family loves and represents a special treat.[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]We will need a couple of coolers of water bottles iced down. We will also need paper products, i.e. heavy duty sectional plates, napkins or paper towels, forks and spoons. Let us know if you can bring any of those, enough for 100 people.[/FONT]
