Seaside Neighborhood School
Many residents of South Walton have come to know Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton simply as their very friendly celebrity neighbor since his family purchased a home in the community several years ago.
Now they - and the global eBay shopping community at large ? have the opportunity to support an outstanding cause and own a one-of-a-kind Sean Payton creation, one he created just months before his Saints became the NFL Champions.
While vacationing here last fall Payton?s family visited the popular Fired Up Paint-Your-Own Pottery studio in Seaside to create some lasting memories of their visit. Coach Payton ("please call me ?Sean?") joined them to pick up their completed works, liked what he saw ? and decided to try his own hand at the craft.
When the Fired Up owners ("please call us ?Directors of Fun?") Jim & Stacy Radford told him about previous celebrity works donated to raise funds for the Seaside Neighborhood School, Sean graciously obliged to offer his piece for the worthy cause.
Here are the Top 5 Reasons you should participate in this eBay auction:
1. The Item up for Bid is a beautiful and unique ceramic plate, hand crafted and autographed by Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton.
2. This is the guy who took the former "Ain?ts" - I?m sorry, Sean & Saints fans ? from worst to first. (Okay, so maybe they weren?t the worst NFL team in 2008, but they did finish at the bottom of the NFC South Division.) 3. You will support the generous co-donors of the art, the Fired Up Directors of Fun, Jim & Stacy Radford.
4. Since I had the poor taste to mention Ain?ts, there ain?t any other plates like this around - nowhere.
5. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Seaside Neighborhood School, the award winning charter middle school that creates high expectations for its students and extends education challenges beyond the school itself.
Seaside Neighborhood School is a charter school. Unlike most public schools, whose extra-curricular programs and capital improvement expenses receive state funding, Seaside Neighborhood School must raise funds to finance band, arts, athletics, technology, field trips, building costs and building maintenance.
Whether you fall into any of several categories, a supporter of sports, the arts, or education ? or if you?re simply a compulsive eBay shopper ? you owe it to yourself to bid early and often on this highly collectible treasure that is sure to earn you bragging rights for the ages.
The eBay auction opens on Monday, November 1, and frantic bidding will last for 7 days.
