The Cultural Arts Association announces the first-ever juried art show as part of the A+Art series. Artists are urged to apply and can access the Call for Entries information on CAA?s website www.culturalartsassociation.com

"Here?s a great chance to pay a reasonable entry fee, for your work to be reviewed by a well-respected juror and to possibly be shown in our new venue at the South Walton campus of NW Florida State College," says Susan Lucas, Chair of the A+Art Committee.

A BEST OF SHOW in the amount of $500 will be awarded, which includes a solo show in 2012. Additionally, three AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE in the amount of $250 will be given. Only wall-hung artwork will be considered. Deadline for entries is February 22nd.

A+Art is a joint venture between the CAA and NWFSC. The juried show "Top of the Class" will open April 1st and run through May 4th.

February 22nd deadline for entries

Excellent entries so far -- will be a good competition. Exhibition space has been expanded. Opening reception and awards ceremony on April 1st.

Don't forget: the current exhibition "Landscape from Four Perspectives" will hang until March 28th. Open M-F - 10:00-4:00.
