Kids Run starts at 8:00am, up to age 12
Awards Ceremony at 8:45am at the Emerald Coast Convention Center
Race Locations: The Landing in Fort Walton Beach 139 SE Brooks St., Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32549
All proceeds go to Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge
Course: 3.1 mile flat course on Brooks Street or Kids 1 Mile course
Entry Fee: Sign up before the 20th at Fridays in Destin and registration is $20 dollars after it will be $25 dollars.
Kids fun run is $10 dollars. Students and military and track club members $17 before the 20th and $23 after the 20th.

Run for the Panhandle
The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge provides wildlife rescue, rehab and environmental outreach to five counties in Northwest Florida. The Refuge rescues thousands of animals a year working closely with local law enforcement, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to protect, treat and release native species. The Refuge also is the lead response team for the Federal Marine Mammal Stranding Network assisting with all marine mammal strandings from mid-Walton County to the Alabama state line. Refuge staff is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing an invaluable service to one of the most biologically diverse areas of North America. Established in 1994, the Refuge was officially incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The Refuge receives no tax dollars and depends upon private contributions, memberships, business partners and grants to support our mission.
