The special event will feature a southern style four-course barbeque dinner paired with bourbon from Four Roses Bourbon (www.fourroses.us). Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q (www.jimnnicks.com) Executive Chef Drew Robinson is collaborating with Solaris Chef James Huckaby on the evening’s menu and The Davenports will entertain the crowd with their down-low, foot-tappin’ blues music. Tickets are $69 and include both dinner and bourbon. Reservations for the limited event are required.

Executive Chef and Pitmaster Drew Robinson of Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q is smoking all the meats for the dinner while Solaris Chef James Huckaby selected complementing side dishes. Highlights from the Bourbon & BBQ Dinner’s southern-inspired menu include Smoked Sausage with Pimento Cheese and Cornbread Crostini, BBQ Chicken with Field Pea and Watercress Salad, Pulled Pork and Ribs with Fried Silver Queen Corn, Cracklins and Braised Greens, Texas Style Smoked Brisket with Savoy Cabbage Slaw and Fried Vidalia Onions, and Banana Puddin’. Each enticing course will be paired with bourbon from Four Roses Bourbon. The Kentucky-based distillery was recently named the "2011 American Distiller of the Year" by Whiskey Magazine. Special guests from Four Roses Bourbon, Al Young, the Historian & Four Roses Brand Ambassador and Patty Holland, National Sales Manager will be on hand to give guests some insights into the distilling process for Four Roses and explain what makes their bourbon so unique.
The evening will also feature live entertainment with the blues duo, The Davenports. Composed of Jeff Glickman and Greg Guzman, The Davenports have competed in The International Blues Challenge in Memphis representing the Blues Society of Northwest Florida. Glickman was recently featured in a BBC radio documentary on Tennessee Williams and Guzman is the host of "The Blue Plate Special" on WUWF in Pensacola.
