Back to Beautiful Weather and Fishing in SoWal




Right after my last report we got hit with Tropical Storm Lee. I think I got one trip in and then the wind and swell started picking up... and up and up.

While it was nice to get some much needed rain there were a whole bunch of folks who really didn't want it on the Labor Day weekend holiday. Read more »

We enjoyed the storm. We did some family bonding with our daughter and her husband, watched some football, watched some great movies on DVD, enjoyed our daughter's pasta and shrimp recipe, enjoyed Pizza Bar, Stinky's, Shoo Mamas, Modica, Taco Bar. And enjoyed the view of the Gulf with the "washing machine" surf. Beautiful.

I think I'll drive down next weekend with the vicious poodle :lol: to enjoy the fall weather.
