Seaside Tailgate: Oklahoma Sooners v. FSU! Saturday, Sept 17

Dear Fans - Due to a technical issue with DirecTV, Seaside is unable to screen the FSU/Oklahoma game as previous planned. We attempted to use a second box from another county in an effort to gain access to a different local affiliate; however, that did not work. We are extremely apologetic for the inconvenience, but know that we have tried everything to be able to screen the game that you, our fans, had requested. We will be screening the Ohio State and Miami (FL) game in it's place per our attendees' request. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

And I picked FSU. How often does that happen? :bang: But I'll bet it was a funn night at Seaside, a place we enjoy so much.

Right now I'd love some Barefoot BBQ. Murph, do you deliver to Georgia? JK. :lol:

EDIT: I'm just curious how these tailgates are working. I hope that they are enjoyable and that Seaside is profiting from them. I personally would never go because (a) little kids make me nervous, and (b) I'd rather scream during a football game at home to avoid embarrassing myself. Miss Kitty, I am trying really hard to be good after annoying you and Mr. K. re my college football addiction.

Beach Runner - Thanks for the comments and you should join us for one of our Seaside Tailgate events (although there is only one more left - Saturday, September 24th - for now)! It's a free event where we show a popular college football game on the giant 35' screen in high definition. We encourage patrons to visit our merchants for food, drinks, and other tailgating supplies. Other than that, we just hope to see fans out cheering on their teams to victory with their blankets and lawn chairs!

Kurt - Thanks for the suggestion! We're always open to suggestions and we will look at the options as we get later into October and November as well and try to fit something in between the other exciting events Seaside has planned for this fall!
