Paddle at the Porch SUP Race Aug. 15

The 4th Annual Paddle at the Porch showcases the beautiful emerald green water and white sandy shores of Destin behind one of its most loved restaurants, The Back Porch, on August 15. This standup paddleboard event features a kids' fun race, a one-mile recreational race, a three-mile recreational race, and a six-mile elite race, to be followed by awards, including a $6,000 cash purse!

The Destin SUP Cup is sponsored by BOTE and The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place racers in the 12'6" Men's Elite and 12'6" Women's Elite will split a $6,000 cash purse. Additional awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall winners, as well as 1st place winners for 50+ and for 18 & Under, in the following categories:

• 1 Mile Recreational Race - Men's, Women's
• 3 Mile Race – Men’s Displacement, Women’s Displacement, Men’s Surfstyle, and Women’s Surfstyle
• 6 Mile Race – 14’ Men’s Elite, 12’6” Men’s Elite, 12’6” Women’s Elite, Men’s Surfstyle, and Women’s Surfstyle
• Kids' Fun Race - Top three boy and girl racers will receive awards.

Fees & Registration

Pricing from June 30 – Aug. 14:
$12 for Kids' Fun Race / $48 for 1 mile / $60 for 3 and 6 mile

Race day pricing:
$15 for Kids' Fun Race / $55 for 1 mile / $75 for 3 and 6 mile

*Kids' Fun Race entry fee does not include t-shirt.

Register on Active.com, by Aug. 13. Registration may also be done by submitting a completed race brochure with payment to the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce by Aug. 14. Race day registration may be completed at The Back Porch, from 8 – 9:30 a.m. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 to register. All racers will receive lunch from The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House.
