We will be spending our first Thanksgiving in South Walton this year. We hope to begin to establish many new "beach" traditions for the holiday. I would love to hear from our neighbors what special traditions you enjoy with your family while spending thanksgiving at the beach. Thanks in advance!

Amazing food at local restaurants and farmers markets! And enjoying time with family at the beach.

The longest running tradition is to vacation here a few times, move here and then start telling everyone how to do it right.

It's a pretty busy week in SoWal. Check the dining forum here for Thanksgiving menus. Christmas parades and tree lightings start the Saturday after Thanksgiving. See SoWal.com events calendar.

What an absolutely moronic thing to say. Helping other human beings acquire homes should not be political fodder.

Just so you know, I've voted for a Republican for President every time. But my vote for humanity is way more important.
