Some good gumbo coming our way this Saturday at Baytowne! We're thrilled that Bud & Alley's Catering Company (located in Grayton Beach) will be one of the contestants this year. Here is what the Chef had to say:

Our booth will be spot #3 on Cannery Lane. We will be on the back side by the Adventure Neighborhood in Baytowne next to the mini golf section.

The gumbo we will be featuring is a seafood gumbo celebrating what our Gulf Coast offers from our local fish boats. Classic ingredients include Andouille sausage, bell pepper, yellow onion, celery, garlic, and Okra. The heart and soul is a fresh seafood mix of crab, oyster, and shrimp. We also make a fish stock with grouper, as well as a little chicken and veal stock for flavor. The final ace up my sleeve is a rich dark roux and roasted blue crabs that’s brings it all together.
