Dawn Brooks will speak at the May 17 meeting of the Emerald Coast Meditation Society. She will discuss “Asana: The deeper meaning of what we call yoga.” Asana is the Sanskrit word referring to pose.
The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Christ the King Episcopal Church parish hall.
The free meeting will start with a 30-minute meditation. The church is located at 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393, Santa Rosa Beach, one-half mile north of Hwy. 98.
