[B]Grayton Beach State Park[/B] invites you to take part in [B]Beach Clean-up Marathon Day[/B], Monday, July 9th from 12-2pm. Join us as we clean up our beautiful beaches after the holiday weekend. Come out and clean just one park, or two parks, or complete all three parks and receive a special reward! Entrance fee waived for participants. Schedule is as follows: Henderson Beach State Park 8 to 10 AM, Grayton Beach State Park 12 to 2 PM and St. Andrews State Park 6 to 8 PM. This is a great way to get introduced to the beautiful state parks in our area. Come meet new people while giving back to the community and beautifying our parks and beaches. [B]In order to participate in this program, one:[/B] • Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instruction independently or with the assistance of a companion. • Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of up to 2 hours. • Must have the ability to navigate wet, sandy, uneven terrain for 1 mile independently or with the assistance of a companion or with the use of adaptive equipment.
