Hurricane Oyster Bar

I made the mistake of going yesterday during happy hour, starving hungry, hoping to put in a to-go order, drink a beer and head to the beach for sunset and the eclipse party, but they were way to busy slinging beers to take my order. That place was like a mad house, filled with jolly people. I couldn't hang around, so I left hungry. Next time I go, I will hopefully not be as rushed for time. I was really looking forward to some fish tacos.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who couldn't hear (although my hearing is poor to start with.) I could barely hear you when you said hello and introduced your mother and others. Even so, the food is very good.

No, it is the room. I am a little slow sometimes- it took me about 10 meals to realize why I have a headache every time I eat inside.

There was/is a display at the library of local textile artists.

Curtains/swags, funky shaped artwork, and cushions on chairs would also help cut the noise, but there is only so much you can do in a small space full of people drinking and enjoying themselves.
