Mexican Restaurant Recommendation near Grayton?

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Grayton Beach recently. We have two young children, and Mexican food is always a big hit with them. We are planning to come back 1-2 more times this year. Can anyone recommend a Mexican restaurant near Grayton (no more than 10-15 minute drive)? Thank you.

A few miles north of the bay on 331 is the Taqueria which is family style. At Grand Boulevard on 98 just before Sandestin is Cantina Laredo - a chain which is more upscale.

SoWal misses Coco's and a family Mexican restaurant on 98 would do well.

The taco bar in Seaside? Not the cheapest place, but right down the road from Grayton.

Don Pedro's in the second strip mall west of 331. Same area as Chop Stix. Good food and great prices.

Don Pedros on 98 would be your best bet. Good food and reasonable prices. From Grayton, take 283 north of 98 and then turn left, going west. Don Pedros will be on your right in a strip mall next to Chop Stix.

Don Pedro's is great- but no margaritas. Ditto for the Taqueria.:(

I feel like I should make this public service announcement- many people go to Mexican restaurants to drink margaritas!

They named the small sandy area behind the Red Bar the Kitty litter Box. So miss Kitty don't do any digin or people will get real nervous.:floor::funn::lol:

Thank you to all. We had heard of Coco's so drove over to 98 to go but discovered it was permanently closed. We were then referred to Don Pedro's but they were closed for the night. Are they normally closed on Sundays?

I made a note of the recommendations and will be sure to try them out next time. Thanks again.

No, we had our two young children with us so we went to Fat Daddy's Pizza. I'll have to check out Jambone's menu and see if it is a good option for us next time.

La Botana says its Italian fare, but the tamales catch my eye. So can you have it both ways? Really need to get by there. It is next to Flip Flops.

We went to Labotana's Monday night but they were closed. Is this their normal closed day?

La Botana was open last night. The chile rellenos were fabulous. Perfect portion and only $10.

Am i the only person that thought Cocos was nasty, and Don Pedros is not much better. I live in Inlet beach and we like Los Rancheros at Edgewater in PCB. If you have the time go over hathaway Bridge in PCB, about a 1/2 mile past on right is Los Antojitos, one of my favorite anywhere. The one in Destin by Old Time Pottery is really good.

Taco Casa in the mall in Panama City. The food has been consistent for the last twenty five years. My wife loved to go there when we were dating. We recently went back and little has changed.
