So sorry to hear one door close. But I hope another one opens for you. I really did enjoy our one visit there and hope things work out for you. I always look at it that these things happen for a reason and there are greater things ahead for you.

One of the best meals I have ever had on 30-a! Thank you Doug for sharing such a wonderful talent. Your gumbo was the first gumbo my 8 year old ever tried! A family lunch we will never forget.
Good luck to you both!

Best of luck to you all, Kat.

We are going to miss you so much, your wonderful personal touch and the magic that Doug worked in the kitchen. It's sad and scary I'm sure, but this is just another step in your journey. Let us know your next exciting move!

Even though, I only had the privilege of having a couple of meals at D&K, they were special and the food delicious. Without a doubt the best key lime pie I have ever tasted and I have had many samples from all over the country.

I am so glad I know the lady with the recipe and I am honored to call her my friend. Best of luck to you, Doug and your sweet children.

 You can't imagine how your kind words are appreciated.
It is a strange feeling not to have the cafe anymore.:creepy::shock::cry::rolling: A lot of mixed feelings. I guess time will take care of that. I will still be on the board and Doug and I will be doing some things that I will bring up later. For now he needs some R&R! So, again many many thanks of love to all of you....because YOU are what the Cafe's all about!
