Kurt, is it permissible to ask for and/or post recipes on this forum? If they are good vacation easy recipes or recipes using ingredients like locally-caught fish, for example?

BTW BR, you mentioned a lemon vinaigrette from the Barefoot chick. Are you going to post the recipe, or are you gonna make me look for it the hard way by buying the book!!
FYI for the future, if you start a new thread here then you can find it easier later and so can others. ;-)

If you go, we need a full report! Maybe we need a shopping thread too....

where is this place?
Tootsie, I am reluctant to answer for fear Kurt will ask me to start a shopping thread! ;-)
But I'll risk it and tell you anyway.
It's on Highway 98 on the north side of the road, not especially far from where 30-A ends. It's one of those corregated steel warehouse buildings that doesn't look especially inviting from the outside, but the inside is full of amazing treasures. Well worth a stop.FunnChef - AlisonCooks.com

YOU BETTER find out where it is so we can go there !!!!

Gotothebeachmom told me about this great place in Panama City Beach called Scavenger's Bazaar. It's sort of like Lily Pads at Grayton Corners. Lots of booths with beachy decorative items, but also a great selection of antiques, including depression glass. I love old kitchen gadgets and goodies.
Yes it's great. Got lots of stuff there when I furnished my place. Even got some old dressers reasonable that I painted myself. From Rosemary bch, go east on 98, through light at carillon and pass publix and start looking for it on your left. Also had good price on Adirondacks. I think I paid $79 about a year and a half ago.
