If you could pick anywhere for your dream dinner- where would you go, and what would you have? I'm allergic to seafood, so any meat dishes are a plus for me 😀

Thanks for the advice in advance!

Kitchen stadium to have my favorite chef's in the world battle it out and then get to eat both dinners. After that I'd be ready for my lethal injection.

Right now I'm feeling Inakaya in Tokyo, serving a robatayaki-style meal. They grill wonderful seafood, steak, veggies, virtually anything you want a la carte.

Great answer! The question for you now would be what ingredient would you secretly choose for them to utilize?! ;-)

Whoops! Maybe I should have been more specific... my birthday is this next week and I will still be in town. Just wondering what ya'lls favorite meals around THIS town are 😉 Thanks! We wanted to go to Caliza- but apparently they are closed on Mondays. Boooo.

How sad you are allergic to seafood! I love the setting and the food at Louisana Lagniapa (sp). They have a great menu with or without the seafood and you can't beat the views.

I am sad about your seafood allergy too, as I can't imagine my life without shrimp. But people say the same thing about my allergy to tree nuts, and I get along without pecan pie perfectly so...

I'd beg to be taken to Fleming's (Grand Boulevard). It is a little pricey for my budget to go for anything other than a very special occasion, but the time I went, I could have cut my filet with my fork.

Fish Out of Water in Watercolor...maybe to much seafood, but I am sure they can provide you with a wonderful alternative suggestion....and res. a table by the window

I cant say that i have eaten at the locations mentioned above, however if money was no object i would go to Segars at the Hilton in Sandestin. Always quality always exceptional and steak a plenty. Enjoy it where ever you go!

Blue Crab, would definitely be a challenge and I'm sure to die for.

You might want to wait, many restaurants are closed on Monday. Since you don't do seafood I would say Fire, they have/had an incredible pork chop, steaks, and lamb.

Just remember that Cafe Tango is very small and reservations are pretty much required.

Borago's would be nice, too-if they're open on Monday. If you're feeling more casual I love the smokey braised shortribs at Stinky's!

We used to LOVE Seagar's but had the worst service of our LIVES there recently. Food is great though.

I vote Fish out of Water but will be trying Cafe Tango this week!! Flemings is wonderful and we just had a incredibly romantic evening on the dinner cruise Solaris at Sandestin.
The cruise may not be offered on your birthday but well worth celebrating a day or two early.

Enjoy your special day wherever you choose!

We are in love with Pizza Bar. Caprese salad, grouper filet (for those allergic to seafood -- what a bummer!) , and any pizza. Daughter and JP have been craving it, but they can't find anywhere in Atlanta that comes close.

As an aside, we also would love to have one of the pasta specials at Bud & Alley's from back when pasta was cool. Those were incredibly good. The herbs, the broth, the depth of flavor -- absolutely yummylicious!

What can you not find in Atlanta? Grouper sandwiches or pizza?
