As you may or may not know, Red Bar stopped serving breakfast last October. I assumed it was just for the off-season, but not so. That was our favorite breakfast in SoWal. Period. We are just craving Red Bar breakfast. We haven't found a substitute in the past year. One of our other favorite places has a limited menu, and another we like has breakfast food that is just too rich for me except maybe once a week. Places we don't like that are popular with many of you are one that is too "chainy" and another that serves flat omelettes. We could eat breakfast at Red Bar every day because the menu was so varied. Not to mention the fun atmosphere and watching the funky people there.
Please, Ollie, rethink serving breakfast at Red Bar.
Anyone else miss Red Bar breakfasts?

Coram's in PCB is a real diner breakfast (and lunch). About 1/2 way to 79 on north side of 98. Very easy drive from Rosemary Beach.

Love Hibiscus too (we always go at least once when we're at the beach). But I like bacon. I never cook it at home, so it was a treat to have it at Red Bar.

Definitely get thee's butt to Hibiscus for breakfast! It is delicious. They have a soysage biscuit that I absolutely crave! not to mention other delicious items such as whole wheat pancakes, quiches and frittattas, cinammon rolls... all home made and delicious.
