Miss Lucille's Famous Painting by Billie Graffrey Needs a Home

TJMay (Tommy May) recently posted in the forum that he is seeking the right home for the painting that hung in Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor at Gulf Place. This would be perfect in a South Walton restaurant, bar or coffee shop! It measures 5 x 9 feet.

I can think of a few places that would be perfect! But it will take the right place with the right space for it. If interested, please send me a PM or send TJMay a pm here in the forum.

Tommy and Barbara May were the original owners of Miss Lucille's.

What? We loved Flip-Flops because the burgers were great and it was so close. So they're not moving into that tacky failure of a pizza place that looked like a pirate ship next to Cassine? Where do I get my takeout burgers on the east end of Seagrove now?

The last we heard (from Flip Flop owner), the building was not zoned for what he needed. That option is out. I do not think he plans to open another restaurant at this time.

Meanwhile, the Miss Lucille's painting has found a new home in a really great SoWal restaurant in Blue Mountain Beach!!! We'll announce as soon as it's a done deal.

The home I found for the Miss Lucille painting has not worked out.

She really needs a home somewhere on 30a.

Any other ideas will be welcomed...

Oh, well, some lucky spot will want it. We will keep an eye out.

Unfortunately, I don't remember from whom I got this but someone thought a local school might have an interest in this treasure but because Miss Lucille had a cigarette in her hand, it would be inappropriate to display her in that environment.

If Billie could paint out the cigarette, perhaps this might work.

Does anyone remember who might have been interested?
