We are having no luck finding the right home for us. We need atleast a 3 bdrm but would prefer a 4 bdrm. Nothing smaller than 1400 sq feet. We would prefer a fenced in yard and it must be a house..not an apartment or a townhome. We would prefer something in North Santa Rosa Beach but wouldnt mind 30-A as long as its not way down 30-A where it takes a half hour to get to 98. We are looking to spend 1200 or less. We have a dog and I am trying to get certified to do in home daycare so the owner would have to be okay with that. if you have anything please let me know and ill give you my email so you can send me pics. There seem to be several rentals in the $1200 per month range. First, try looking in the rentals on SoWal. Not many four bedrooms in that price range, but you should be able to find a three bedroom for that price and that sq ft. Finding one which accepts pets may prove more difficult, but they are out there. Just curious, what things would something like operating a day care incur for the owner? I'm guessing liability would increase. What else?
i dont think anything regarding the owner would be affected. At our old rental in another state they had insurance which protected the home if there was a fire or say someone fell on the property and tried to sue them it would protect them but Im sure if something was put in the lease that stated I am liable for that type of stuff it would be fine. I guess it would be up to the owner and how they feel about it. ive had many rentals tell me they dont care if I do daycare.
