Open Government -TDC Budget Requests

In an effort to help the citizens of Walton County understand exactly how their tax dollars are being expended we will be posting 2009-2010 budget requests on-line. These are the requests and not approved at this time.

Many Counties in Florida do this through their own website and our organization is working to have the County Commissioners implement "Books On-line" through their new website.

The TDC is the first Department we will post as our public records request was complied with through an electronic version.

When we convert each of the other departments and Constitutional Offices into electronic versions they will be posted as well.

Those places where they are looking for performance reviews and grade enhancements, does that indicate that they will be seeking raises for employees in those positions?

I am not positive but it appears that is the case. I will mke an inquiry.
