Shard Shop Front Desk and Art Instructor

We are looking for team memebers that will successfully inspire a relaxed and fun environment for guests to discover the experience of creating their own piece of ShardWorx® art on painted surface!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Greets guests enthusiastically, follow proper check-in procedures
• Answers phone and responds to emails.
• Be available for events and parties
• Implements and follow OSHA/COVID guidelines
• Demonstrates and promotes efficient use of shop resources.
• Cash handling experience
• Proficient with POS tablet
• Become proficiet at Art Teacher and Resin Tech roles.
• Promotes art making concept by educating guests on our process, booking guests online or by phone.
• Promotes retail sales.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work with an enthusiastic, positive attitude. Is customer service driven and enjoys working with both children and adults. Skill set includes strong communication, cash register experience and attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE
Preferably at least one year of experience in a customer service or retail environment. Cahs handling/sales register experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and talk for long periods of time. Ability to lift to 40 pounds. Must be able to multi-task and communicate verbally and in writing ideas and concepts clearly and simply. Some daily tasks are repetitive.
