- Maintain good customer service, from a warm greeting into the store to an efficient check out experience
- Familiarize themselves with popular brands sold in the store to provide knowledgeable suggestions to customers
- Process payments on a point-of-sale computer system; process credit cards and cash
- Assist with restocking when new items are delivered; restock and price items when necessary
- Keep the store neat, clean, and organized, including folding t-shirts and other apparel
