Montessori assistant teacher needed for fall

South Walton Montessori Academy is seeking a positive, creative and dedicated early childhood assistant teacher to join our 3-6 year old Primary classroom beginning August, 2013. The position is full time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We follow a similar calendar as Walton County public schools. The Primary assistant is a vital asset to the Montessori classroom community who implements positive classroom management procedures and models respectful and responsible behavior in order to guide children. Our teachers work collaboratively to implement our mission which is to provide a personalized learning environment which nurtures the whole child, and enables students to develop at their own pace and achieve to their full potential. The candidate must be enthusiastic, flexible, collaborative, committed and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of students and families.
