Pay Grade: 19 FLSA Status: Exempt


Hiring Range: $ $60,527 to $81,945 annually (max) depending on qualifications (DOQ)


Job Summary:


Reporting to the Tourist Development Council Executive Director, the incumbent is responsible for managing and overseeing all beach-related functions of the Walton County Tourist Development Council (TDC). Duties include: planning, developing, coordinating and implementing the county’s beach plans and strategies; and managing and supervising the Beach Maintenance Manager and the Beach Code Enforcement functional area.


Minimum Position Qualifications:


Bachelor degree from an appropriately accredited college or university in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or Law Enforcement
Three years of proven supervisory experience in the area of project management, public works, planning, engineering, construction or law enforcement


Note: A Master degree from an appropriately accredited college or university in a related field (as determined by the Executive Director and the BCC) may substitute for the required experience.


Valid driver license from the state of legal residence
