I have been in that house. I see where you state it is fully furnished. I know it has appliances but I dont think it is furnished. Isn't it a brand new home? It is a killer house. I know the builder and he does great work.

That's correct, it is not furnished. It does have appliances, but no furniture. The home is brand new. I spoke with the owner yesterday and he told me that he would settle for $1,700/month. It's a gorgeous home for that price!

I'm strongly considering a move from New Orleans and am vaguely familiar with the South Walton area, but not familiar with the individual names of neighborhoods. If possible could you post a street address so I can find it on google.

It's Grande Pointe Drive North. It's a brand new subdivision so I'm not sure if it will be on Google Maps. It's about 1/4 mile past Rosemary Beach.
This is a $800,000 house and he's willing to rent it for $1,700/month. Now, that's a deal!

Mr. Mclean, I also have seen this home, loverly, $800K, er, well, in a pig's eye. More like $799,000. :lol:

Will the Owner allow for escrowing the rent for three to six months at a time?

Is it this house still available? The house we are renting in Blue Mountain Beach is about to be sold and we will be moving soon. Small schnauzer ok? What is the offical rent? Is this house for sale as well as for rent and if so, how much time would a renter have if it did sell?
