I have a set of Royal Worcester Ferncroft - Turqoise that I'd like to sell.

10 Dinner Plates
5 Salad Plates
10 Soup Bowls
10 Cups
12 Saucers
10 Bread & Butter Plates
3 Demitasse Cups
2 Demitasse Saucers

Discontinued pattern #z2247. Excellent condition to good. I never used them; my grandmother had them before me. In fact, they were supposed to be my wedding present, but she didn't like who I married and didn't give them to me. When she died, I got them anyway. Replacements.com has some of them, and this set would be about $1650, I'd sell for $1500.

I think that set is beautiful. Seems like it woulf fit in plenty of homes w/ the new colors of today. Would be gorgeous filling a china cabinet!! I am sure you will have no problem selling it. Have you tried ebay? Good Luck!

Is the edging gold or silver/platinum in color?

The edging is gold. They are very old. I never used them, and I don't think my grandmother ever did either. She didn't like to cook. She liked to use some oriental dishes she had. In fact, she collected quite a few antiques of all kinds including furniture.

How about $1250? They are just taking up space in my cabinet, and everytime I look at them, I think about what she said! Maybe even trade for something else? Space in a shop perhaps?
