I have a 2 foot stack of 2005-2006-2007 Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Food & Wine magazines. Does anybody local want them? I hate to pitch them!

See if the Library will take them.

Gosh, I thought I was the only one who kept old magazines. I have stacks of Gourmet and Southern Accents from the early 80's in the attic. I hate to take them to the recycling center. If you are successful getting rid of yours, jdarg, please let me know how you did it.

try selling on ebay.

try selling on ebay.I thought about that, but wouldn't shipping cost more than they're worth?
Beach Fanatic
the buyer pays for shipping.

the buyer pays for shipping.Oh, okay. I've never sold on eBay. Need to get savvy about it -- Mom has a boatload of china, crystal, Lladro, and other items that we need to get rid of when we sell her house. The big items (like furniture) we'll sell at an estate sale.

try it out, it may be a hassle at first, but when you learn it isn't so bad.
i'm not an ebay pro, but i'm familiar w/ the basics.

Uh, thanks, but....I'll take some gourmet and food/wine mags. I have the others plus some, but not these two.

hmmmm......can't remember
Schools and hospitals use magazines. Kids cut them up for art projects, hospitals/doctors offices usually want the ones from the past year for waiting rooms. (Take them to a gynocologist, please. I'm so tired of having to read parenting magazines in those waiting rooms.)

I love "Working Mother"- funny, I am working my fanny off (purely a figure of speech at this time of year), but I don't think this magazine is addressing my issues.
